Well I wrote the Fallen Angel article today, only to lose the entire thing. Off to the drawing board! It's important information, so I will have it out soon. |

Since I decided to write this article, I have written and rewritten it more times than I can count. It started out in the Tools section, then I decided to make it a multi-part article because it didn't quite fit like I thought it would. I have changed the title more than once. This series is about how we understand of ascension whether multidimensional or 3D. This article sets the foundation. Why Does Ascension Need "Redefining?"Our understandings of all things are based on belief systems, or what we think we know. I lovingly call belief systems "BS" because in many cases they are nothing but a bunch of BS that we believe to be truth. All of us can see this easily the more we grow and the closer we get to a balanced state. And therein lies the importance of being clear about what we know and what we communicate to others. As we move towards balance, we change our perception. It's a package deal. When this happens as an individual or as a group, do we continue holding on to old concepts or misgivings or do we gain clarity and move on? If we're explaining who we are to others, isn't it important to communicate what we feel and know inside?
Many times when there is movement and we grow, we are left with confusion where convictions once were. Thankfully the BS is gone, but there is little or nothing left that we know is now truth in our reality. This hits some people hard and they can't cope. Some literally go crazy and have to seek help. Others recognize the natural flow and adapt, some more quickly than others. Some of us, on the ascension fast track, anticipate it and deal the best we can until next time (cause we know there will be one!). Any way you slice it the process has to play out. Understanding the process and construct, though, is more than helpful in getting through it. It's the difference between the person who says "Oh what horrible things have happened to me. I just wish things would go back to how they were." and the person who says "Well right now things really stink, but I know that I'm moving through change. When I'm done, I'll take a break before my next growth spurt." Of these two types of people, it's not clear who will gain the most growth, but it is clear who will have an easier time with it.After moving through change, it's understandable why we'd want things to go back to "normal" like the first person I described. Going back into the comfort zone is, well, comforting! But if you do that, you backtrack instead of move forward. And while it's not always cut and dry, being mindful of the meanings you attach to words is part of the growth process. Things seem different because they ARE. We perceive things differently after growth. They are no longer the same so we cannot describe them the same. And that's why, now, ascension needs redefining. Not the concept of ascension, but the ideas and definitions associated with it. We're no longer the students that we were 10, 20, or 30 years ago. We're not even the students that we were 2 years ago. We are becoming the teachers, and it's time for us to make the adjustments so that our students will get clear information the first time around. Is Time/Space Vertical or Horizontal? You're probably wondering why in the world does it matter if time/space is vertical or horizontal. One of the first things that we learn in Metaphysics 101 is that All Time is Now. The next is that no one thing is "better" than another because all things have value. That includes time/space, frequency, dimensions, and so forth. Just based on that, it's pretty clear to me that time/space is neither vertical or horizontal. Believe me - I wish it was. Do you know how hard it is to talk about ascension to someone, especially someone who is unfamiliar with the topic, knowing that we're not really "moving up?" I mean, our entire 3D language and construct are based on duality such as higher and lower, better and worse, more and less. We talk about "higher" selves and "raising" frequency." Even the word ascension means to move up (as opposed to down). So we speak to others about ascending, raising our frequency, merging with our higher selves. And then we tell them that there is nothing that is better than another, that all is one, and that we are all equals, etc. etc. Not only is that confusing for the student, but it sends mixed signals to our Selves as well. I'll be honest folks - after a long and winding road, I'm still a bit confused myself! And I sure as heck don't have many more appropriate 3D words to describe what I do know. So let's change our perceptions, starting with the nature of time and space. And if you've already done that, go a step further and change your language to better reflect your perceptions. Forget "timelines" or anything else vertical or horizontal and picture a giant bubble bath. There are countless individual bubbles inside of the whole big sea of bubbles. They're all just next to each other, not in a vertical or horizontal line. Spheres of RealityOne of the terms that I used to use for the time/space I inhabit was layer. By layer I mean "layer of understanding." But that's not accurate, though, because the word layer has connotations of being vertical and nothing in our reality is vertical! Plus, it's not just understanding - this is reality, literally, while we are within it, even if we're just passing through. The image of the way the different realities "look" when I tune into this idea is like that sea of bubbles that I described earlier. And when I look a little closer, I see that it's not completely a random sea of bubbles but a highly complex one! A nice formal term could be "spheres of reality," but bubbles are just more fun. It's not a new concept. Many have described the time/space realities that we inhabit as bubble-like. Imagine that there are an unspecified number of bubbles, and each bubble represents a reality construct. You can call these sub-realities. These bubbles are organized into a sphere shaped mass of their own, and are encased inside of the larger bubble of reality that holds the main construct. For instance, the larger bubble may represent "belief in god" while the smaller bubbles represent different versions of that main belief system. This bubble can even be part of a larger bubble system, itself a small bubble within the whole. Sounds complex and it is, but reducing it to bubbles makes it easier for me to grasp and picture. In fact, I found a lovely representation of this concept minus the large encompassing bubble, using the Earth as an example. Just mentally picture a big bubble around the earths. You can view it at http://images.fotosearch.com/bigcomps/corbis/DGT077/CB057476.jpg. It's copyrighted so I can't include the actual image in this article but if you click on the link you will get the picture quite literally! But back to reality bubbles...remember that they represent our realities and what we believe to be true. Now here's the fun part: when we grow and shed old B.S., we pop our current reality bubble and move on to another one! Before we know it we may have popped all of the bubbles within the larger one and thus cleared the way for major change, not only in our lives but in others as well. Did a light bulb go off? It did for me as I was writing this because it illustrates how emotional clearing work assists you in breaking free and changing your reality. I'm a visual person if you haven't already noticed, and believe it or not I could never properly explain this connection until now! In the next part of this series we'll be moving on to other ideas, popping our BS as we go! Until then...
